Join us this August for a mouth-watering walking food tour in the heart of Sunshine! This 2.5-hour guided experience blends food, culture, and local storytelling across a compact 1km, fully accessible route—perfect for both curious locals and adventurous food lovers.

What’s included:

The itinerary highlights:

  • Welcome at “The Cow” (Bennett St & Hampshire Rd): Kick off with live brass band tunes and a theatrical welcome inspired by Sunshine’s industrial heritage.
  • Entree at Level 6 Rooftop – Banh Mi Picnic: Enjoy a crisp, open-air moment with half a Vietnamese Banh Mi and sugar cane juice, curated by Fresh Chilli Deli.
  • Shop Stop: NC Food: Meet Canny, learn about and experience their rare dried meats.
  • Main Course at Afghan Shaheen: Indulge in a feast of Afghan dumplings, grilled skewers, goat masala, cheesy naan, and lassi or beer—set along one beautiful long window-side table. A street performance brings the precinct to life!
  • Dessert at Kuuki cafe: Sip matcha or coffee and pick from three pre-ordered treats, before receiving your boxed takeaway cupcake, complete with a local experience QR code.
  • Final Stop: Gasko’s House of Fresh: Wrap up with a behind-the-scenes look at one of Sunshine’s iconic grocery stores, and take home a final round of goodies.
