What to Expect During the Sessions:

Walking Football is a small-sided, low-impact version of the game that’s easy on the joints while still offering a great cardiovascular workout. Matches are played on smaller pitches with modified formats (5v5 or 6v6), and the focus is on having fun while staying active. Game times are shorter, and the rules are modified to make it easier for everyone to join in:

  • No running: Players must always have one foot on the ground.
  • Non-contact: The game is non-contact, so no tackling or body checks.
  • Ball restrictions: The ball can’t be kicked above hip-height, and heading is not allowed.

This program is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the benefits of regular physical activity in a social and supportive environment. It’s a great way to stay active, improve your fitness, and reduce stress, all while making new connections in your community.

Health, Well-Being & Social Benefits:

Walking Football offers numerous health benefits, from boosting cardiovascular fitness to enhancing flexibility and balance. It also promotes mental well-being by encouraging social interaction and providing a fun, low-pressure environment to enjoy physical activity. Whether you’re looking to stay fit or simply enjoy the camaraderie of a team sport, Walking Football has something for everyone.

Join us for a fun and rewarding session every Wednesday afternoon—no prior football experience required! You’ll get moving, meet new people, and have a great time in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Come and experience the joy of football—at a pace that works for you! ⚽️
