Join Friends of Taylors Creek supported by Brimbank City Council for a morning of planting native grasses and wildflowers at the beautiful Lakes Grassland in Taylors Lakes.
There are many reasons why wildflower grasslands are important. One is that butterflies such as the “Common Brown” feed on flowers in spring and summer and lay their eggs directly onto native grass species to ensure an immediate food supply when larvae emerge. Planting events like this one ensure butterflies have somewhere to lay their eggs.
We look forward to seeing you there!
