As part of our After School Activity zone program, this week we will celebrate Reconciliation Week with a creative, hands-on art experience for children across our library branches.
Inspired by the 2026 theme All In, this collaborative mural invites children to reflect on community, connection, and the voices of First Nation’s young people shaping the future.
The activity will be supported by a curated selection of books by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children’s authors, encouraging learning through both art and storytelling.
Families are encouraged to drop into these sessions, create, and be part of a growing artwork that celebrates First Nations cultures, community, and collective expression.
