Powerful Pollinators (Ages 3-12)

April 17, 2025

10:00 am - 11:00 am
  • Delahey Community Centre; 70 Copperfield Dr, Delahey
  • Wurundjeri Country

Join us for an engaging and educational experience where expert children’s educators from Little Sprouts will introduce your kids to the fascinating world of pollinators!

During this interactive session, children will explore:

  • What pollination is
  • The importance of local pollinator species
  • Why pollinators are essential for our environment
  • How we can support and protect pollinators

Kids will enjoy a fun flower pollination game and get hands-on by making seed balls. Once dried, these can be planted at home or in the local area to help grow pollinator-friendly plants.

Please note: Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

This event is proudly brought to you by the My Smart Garden program—a free educational gardening initiative designed to help you grow food, create habitats, reduce waste, and use water wisely.
