Presented in partnership with My Smart Garden and Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, and Maribyrnong Councils, Olives to Oil Westside is back! Delivered by CERES, this much-loved community event invites you to gather your homegrown olives and have them pressed into delicious, local olive oil.
How it works:
Drop off your olives at one of our local collection days, and collect your share of freshly pressed oil at our Festival Day on Sunday 1 June at McNish Reserve, Yarraville.
Even if you don’t have olives to harvest, there’s still plenty to enjoy!
Register now to attend one (or all!) of the following free events:
Fruit Tree Maintenance Workshop – Friday 3 May at Horseshoe Bend Community Farm
Harvesting & Preserving Workshop – Wednesday 14 May at Westvale Community Centre
Olives to Oil Festival – Sunday 1 June at McNish Reserve, Yarraville
Olive drop-off locations:
Please note: You or a friend/family member must collect your oil at the Festival on 1 June. Unfortunately, late collections aren’t available.
