Occupation Studies: Agriculture Exhibition by Tahlia Palmer

July 6, 2025

9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Brimbank Gallery and Brimbank Projection Gallery, 301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine

Tahlia Palmer’s exhibition examines how industrial farming has shaped Brimbank’s landscape and history. Tahlia is an artist of Yuwaalaraay and European descent who explores the impact of colonial land use, from water management to large-scale agriculture.

Friday 6 June to Friday 29 August

Through video and abstract imagery, she highlights the environmental damage while honouring Indigenous knowledge and connections to Country.

This thought-provoking exhibition challenges notions of agricultural progress and invites reflection on the lasting effects of colonisation.

Brimbank Gallery and Brimbank Projection Gallery, 294 and 301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine, open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
The projection at 301 Hampshire Road is at the rear of the building
