National Tree Day

Join Brimbank City Council and volunteers for a morning of planting along the Taylors Valley Parklands escarpment as part of National Tree Day 2024.

Come and plant native shrubs and grasses that were once flourishing in the area, with over 3000 plants to add to the site. There will also be some exciting children’s nature-based activities and morning tea provided, all free of charge.

A Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony will be held by Wurundjeri Elder, Uncle Shane Charles as well as a free native plant giveaway for every participant.
