A dance performance celebrating women in the Vietnamese community and held the Saturday before Vietnamese Mother’s Day, known as Mua Vu Lan which is held on Sunday 12 May.
The event commemorates the last Empress, Nam Phuong and the First Lady Mai Anh of Vietnam who were influential female figures throughout time. The event will promote women’s sense of self-worth and their right to influence social change for others.
Through a colourful cultural dance performance, the event seeks to celebrate the accomplishments and the outstanding contributions of Vietnamese women to the community.
