IN2Tennis – Blind Tennis Come and Try / Introduction workshop

February 11, 2025

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Stadium Drive Keilor Park
  • Wurundjeri Country

Join our four-week Blind and Low Vision (BLV) tennis introduction workshop, designed for anyone who is blind or vision-impaired to experience the thrill of the game in a supportive setting.

  • Tuesday 4 February 5pm to 6pm
  • Tuesday 11 February 5pm to 6pm
  • Tuesday 18 February 5pm to 6pm
  • Tuesday 25 February 5pm to 6pm

Using larger foam balls that produce a distinct noise, standard racquets, and clear on-court markers, players can confidently track the ball’s movement and fully participate in each rally.

Our expert coaches will guide you through essential techniques, ensuring a fun and inclusive environment for all skill levels.

Through BLV tennis, participants can enhance coordination, boost fitness, and develop social connections, all while building independence and self-confidence.

This workshop lays a solid foundation for continued involvement in the sport—from social play to competitive pathways at local clubs, community events, and beyond.

Come along once a week for four weeks, try something new, and discover how BLV tennis can open up a world of possibilities both on and off the court.
