Do you have some half-baked lyrics floating around in your head? How about an unpolished poem or some new stand-up material you want to try out?

Whatever your untapped talent is, our half-baked open mic is your opportunity to practice your performance skills with a friendly audience in a low-stakes showcase at STACC!

Performance ideas could include:

  • reading out something you scribbled while on the bus
  • testing all-ages friendly stand-up material
  • musical performance on piano, singing, guitar, ukulele etc.
  • a song or rap you made-up in the shower
  • a poem you typed up on your phone at 2am
  • a dance you made with your friends at school
  • a short film or music video filmed using only a phone.

All performers will receive a $20 voucher to spend how they choose!

Date: Thursday 28 March 2024
Times:

  • Artists arrive: 5:30pm
  • Performance: 6pm-8pm

Free catering provided by SalamaTea on the night.
