GUIH Brimbank Refugee Event ‘Empowering Refugee’s’

This gathering is open to all who want to learn about refugees’ experiences—their struggles, strengths, and resilience.

Thursday 12 June 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

You will meet professionals from various agencies with whom you can ask questions and find answers to feel empowered.

GUIH will register people who need ongoing support to join our mentorship program.

It is a free entry. Free raffle prizes and best dressed cultural costumes are some of the highlights of this gathering.

 1st Sunday Sausage Sizzle
Where: Tin Shed, St Albans
When: Every 1st Sunday of the month | 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

 Women’s Empowerment Group
Where: Delahey Community Centre
When: Every fortnight

 Community Q&A Sessions
We’re bringing together Services Australia, NDIS, and other providers (currently registering) for Q&A sessions.
When: Fortnightly during August, September, and October 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
