ABOUT KONTIKI:
Kontiki Cultural Women Empowerment is a non-profit volunteer organisation dedicated to fostering empowerment among individuals from refugee and migrant backgrounds. The primary objective is to equip participants of all ages with new skills, the capacity to achieve self-reliance, and social integration. This is achieved by using artistic fashion designs and by utilising gara and batik ink tie-dye techniques. Additionally, Kontiki offer comprehensive sewing programs and training tailored to community members, particularly focusing on young adults and youths throughout Victoria.
