Festa Santa Marija Assunta

Tuesday 15 August from 7pm – St Peter Chanel, 880 Ballarat Road, Deer Park
Mass followed by a merry band march by the “The Maltese Own Band Philharmonic Society Inc.” and a small musical concert of Marian Marches at the hall. Complimentary light refreshments will be served.

Friday 18 August from 6.15pm – St Peter Chanel, 880 Ballarat Road, Deer Park
Mass and Presentation Of Flowers By The Faithful To Santa Marija, accompanied by the “M.W.F. Philippine Choir”.

After Mass, “MMG Concert Band of Vic.” will be playing those cherished merry band and Marian Hymnal Marches at the hall. Everybody is invited, Come and meet each other, while celebrating this Great occasion.

Saturday 19 August from 7pm – Luxor 503-523 Sydneham Road, Taylors Lakes
Traditional dinner dance with entertainment by: D.J. Dominic and The “MMG Concert Band of Victoria.”

Sunday 20 August from 2pm – St Peter Chanel, 880 Ballarat Road, Deer Park
Mass: Homily in honour of the Assunta, with accompanying choir “The Philippine Eucharistic Choir”. Weather permitting a Procession Parade with the artistic and devotional statue of Santa Marija accompanied by:

“The M.M.G. Concert Band of Victoria in tandem with “The Maltese Own Band Philharmonic Society Inc.” Entertainment, after the procession parade, a musical concert will be hosted at the hall by the two Maltese, wind and brass bands; followed by D.J “Il-Markiz ”

Traditional Maltese food & drinks will be available for sale.
