Join us during National Reconciliation Week for a powerful screening of Returning Our Ancestors, a documentary produced by the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council.
This moving film sheds light on the deeply painful history of how Aboriginal burial places were disturbed and Ancestors removed from Country in the name of science and curiosity. It also tells the story of ongoing efforts, begun in the 1980s, to bring Ancestors home to rest—with care, ceremony, and community.
Following the screening, we invite you to stay for a discussion with Uncle Shane Charles, who will share reflections and insights into this vital journey of truth-telling and healing.
