Harmony Day provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of inclusivity, mutual respect and a sense of belonging within our community. Diversity is one of our greatest strengths and the day encourages us to recognise how our different cultures and experiences contribute to a richer, more connected society. Through shared activities, conversations and acts of goodwill, we can reinforce the message of unity.
The theme Everyone Belongs reminds Australians to celebrate cultural diversity and wearing orange is a recognised symbol of support.
