The Brimbank Carers Space was developed with the support of local carers in a community co-design approach. It is a multi-purpose space and offers a broad range of features. It will serve as a comprehensive resource centre for Brimbank carers. The space will provide access to technology, professional advice from carer organisations, spaces for peer support, carer support groups, education and respite programs tailored to the unique needs of Brimbank carers.
We welcome local carers to attend one of our upcoming drop-in sessions to learn more about Brimbank’s Carers Space, what’s available via Brimbank’s Support for Carers program and further supports available via the local carer support provider network.
Local carers or service providers wanting to connect with the space can also contact the Brimbank Community Support Team on 03 9249 4974 and CommunitySupport@brimbank.vic.gov.au.
