‘Bug Rug’ Pollinator Count: Kororoit Creek

November 9, 2025

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Bug Rug - Kororoit Creek Trail - Entrance via 59 Sanders Ave, Sunshine West

Join us for this special ‘Pollinator Count’ event, where you’ll learn from expert entomologist and science communicator, Luis Mata, about the fascinating world of insect pollinators.

As part of the National Pollinator Count, you’ll help identify and count bees, butterflies, and other vital pollinators at the Friends of Kororoit Creek (FOKC) ‘Bug Rug’ restoration site, contributing to valuable data that will assist land managers with monitoring the success of restoration efforts.

No prior experience needed – we will provide training on how to observe and record pollinator activity.
