Join Brimbank Council and Friends of Kororoit Creek for a hands-on, exciting day of giving back to nature at Kororoit Creek in Sunshine West.
Sunday 27 July 10am to 1pm
We are creating new habitat along Kororoit Creek to help wildlife move safely up and down the creek. To do this we will be replacing a large patch of weedy grass with lots of beautiful native grasses that will provide habitat for native pollinators.
What to expect:
– Planting native grasses
– Learning about the different flora and fauna along the creek
– Meeting like-minded neighbours and enjoying the fresh air
– Light refreshments and fun activities for the kids!
This event is a collaboration between Brimbank City Council and Friends of Kororoit Creek, with support of the Victorian Government through the Green Links Program.
