Join us for Brimbank’s annual NAIDOC Week Flag Raising Ceremony, in partnership with Watergrdens Shopping Centre.

Festivities will take place in front of Hoyts Cinema.

Take part in an insightful community event including:

Smoking Ceremony
Welcome to Country
Multi-generational conversation on the history of NAIDOC with a panel of First Nations speakers
Special performance by Pirritu
Flag raising ceremony

Plus activities for all ages until 12.30pm:

Yarning Circle with Uncle Shane
Children’s Craft Workshop with the Aunties
50 Years of NAIDOC Posters Gallery
Indigenous Stories with Brimbank Libraries
‘Little Wombats’ Children’s activities with Sydenham Neighbourhood House
Facepainting by ‘Yarn Strong Sista’
