Free Art Therapy Workshops conducted by a Qualified Art Therapist Lee Agius at Duke St Community House which will run for 6 weeks on Thursdays from 9.50am-12:30pm weekly starting on 6 November.
The workshops are welcome to residents of Brimbank. Engaging in creative activities can be a powerful way to boost mental and emotional well-being. It encourages self-confidence, eases stress, and sharpens both emotional insight and cognitive abilities.
By offering a non-verbal channel for expression, creativity helps people explore and release complex feelings, build healthier coping strategies, and work through difficult experiences. It also supports social development by fostering communication and empathy, while deepening self-understanding and personal growth.
ADEC is proud to bring Artability to Brimbank with the proud support of Brimbank Council.
An Art Exhibition will be held early 2026 so showcase the amazing artwork and celebrate the Artists and share with the community. Everyone is welcome only restriction is 18years and above.
